Warped Tour 2006

I have some major catching up to do when it comes to posts. These are from the Warped Tour in Camden, NJ. Some of the artists include Hellogoodbye, Joan Jett, The Academy Is..., and The Bouncing Souls.

Music is probably one of my favorite things to shoot. Capturing the energy and mood of a performer in general is an amazing experience. Hang on tight for the Nawlin's photos. Those will be coming soon as well.

2006

What a year.

You ever hear the phrase "never look back?"

Looking back is important as hell. Where and who you were, where you came from, what you did, what you didn't do : all of these determine who you are and who you will be.

I mostly never take the time to step back and analyze things that I've done. Mostly because i'm too busy. But here's where I take off my shoes, and rest my head.

2006 was awesome, mostly because I never stopped doing something. Through it all I've gained valuable insight as to who I am, what I want to do, and how I want to do it. The only thing for me to do is get better.

A new year is really nothing special. A year is a calculation, a measurement of time, a number. It's all about what you do and who you do it with that make your years/months/weeks/days/seconds really worth it.

Look back, learn, and move forward.

Women's Basketball

Yo blog, whatup. Long time no post. What about a little women's basketball?

This was my first time shooting basketball and it was annoying to shoot. I had borrowed a fixed 70-200mm telephoto lens for the entire game. Nonetheless, it was a fun experience.
